Deeksha Mahila Welfare Society & Mandali in Action
Deeksha Mahila Welfare Society and Mandali is emerged as an effort of a few socially sensitive people who came from different backgrounds, charged with the vision of working with the vulnerable sections of the society and addressing issues giving rise to such vulnerabilities.
DMWS&M has been facilitating the process of change at multiple levels to bring about lasting impact on social and economic status of the poor and socially marginalized families. Through its interventions, it has been able to influence the processes that contribute to addressing the issues of coastal ecology while promoting livelihood security of the excluded communities. The experiences of DMWS&M present a strong opportunity for evolving as a development facilitator and bringing in together effective programmatic approaches and replicable methodologies in a consistent and convergent manner.
